Chapter 10Nix yawned as he and Logan stepped out of the truck and went into the library. It hadn’t opened yet, but they’d been given a code so they could get in through the door. Their footsteps echoed in the eerie silence, and the strip lights hummed to life in the dark February morning.
“s**t, this is creepy.” He grimaced at Logan.

“An empty library.”
Logan frowned at him and looked around. “You think?”
“Hell, yeah. I expect some books to scream at us like in the Harry Potter movie.”
