"You sure you don't want to come with me?" Shailey asked one more time, "It will be fun" She added quickly before I can give the same answer that I have been giving her for the past few minutes.
I chuckled softly, "I don't want your friends to be uncomfortable around me," I said, shaking my head. I wanted to go out with them but I was just afraid of how her friends might react.
