School days when women were superior to men

634 Words
Deep in a remote and quiet valley, there is a mysterious village. This village is isolated from the outside world, as if it exists in another time and space. Here, women are supreme and hold all power in the village, while men are in a subordinate position and must abide by the three obediences and four virtues. In this village where women are respected, my student life is full of unique colors and challenges. In the morning, the sun shines on the path of the village. I get up early, prepare a simple breakfast for the women at home, and then pack my schoolbag to go to school. On the way to school, I can see girls walking with their heads held high and full of confidence, and their eyes reveal a sense of control over everything. Most of us boys lower our heads and walk a little hurriedly, as if we are just supporting roles in this world. When we arrived at school, the female teachers stood majestically at the door of the classroom to welcome the students. They were dressed in neat clothes and had serious expressions, which made people intimidated. Entering the classroom, the seating arrangement also reflects the order of women being superior to men. Girls usually sit in the front row, while we boys are arranged in the back row or corners. In the classroom, the words of the female teachers are absolute authority. They lectured on knowledge incessantly, and the female students actively raised their hands to speak and boldly expressed their opinions and ideas. Even if we boys have the answer in mind, we are often hesitant and dare not raise our hands easily. Because if we answer incorrectly, we may be severely criticized by the teacher and laughed at by classmates. During the break, the girls played and frolicked on the playground. Some of them skipped ropes, some kicked shuttlecocks, and the laughter echoed in the campus. We boys can only watch silently or do some quiet activities carefully, for fear of causing dissatisfaction among the girls. During the break, which was supposed to be a time to relax, it was often the beginning of embarrassment for me. Those lively girls would gather around me. Some of them would gently lift my chin with their fingers, teasing with a playful look in their eyes: "Hey, little boy, you are quite handsome." Some would deliberately get close to me, and the fragrance on their bodies made me blush, but I dared not resist. They would smile and say something that made me shy, such as "How about being my little follower when you grow up?" or "If you are obedient, maybe I will reward you with something delicious." I could only lower my head with a red face, feeling helpless and aggrieved. I wanted to resist, but in this world where women are superior to men, resistance would only bring more serious consequences. In various activities in school, girls always play the role of leaders. They organize activities and assign tasks, and we boys can only follow their arrangements and work hard to complete our tasks. Even if we have different ideas in our hearts, we dare not raise them easily, because in this world where women are superior to men, our opinions are often not valued. When school is over, girls can leave school calmly, while we boys have to pack our schoolbags quickly and rush home to continue to do housework. In this special village, going to school is not only an opportunity for us boys to learn knowledge, but also an experience that constantly reminds us of our low status. But despite this, I still have a desire for equality in my heart and look forward to the day when the world will change.
