Chapter Twelve As they rumbled down the gravel driveway that led to Booker Hall, Laurie, who had been mostly silent throughout the trip, said, “I still don’t understand why we have to come here instead of going to the Lattingdon police headquarters.” Alex shrugged, “It’s just as much of a mystery to me. All I know is what the police told me.
