Chapter Thirty Three Clarence was snoring loudly on the sofa and Laurie was bored. There was absolutely nothing to do here and Laurie, who was accustomed to keeping busy with her research, was starting to go stir-crazy. She desperately missed her Mac Book, although with a painful twist of remorse she knew that if she really was now illiterate, it would be totally useless to her. Without television or radio, there was only Clarence’s meager shelves of paperbacks, magazines and tabloids to turn to.
