Rain POV

I stared more into his eyes . I was still contemplating about what he had just said . What the hell did he mean . I opened my mouth but there was not a word that came out . It appeared as though all the words had gotten stuck behind the tongue that was why I could not say out even a single word .

He gotten so closer into me that I could feel his cologne sniffed right in my nose. It was strong . A rare one that I had not smelt before .

“Are you okay ?” he asked me even before I had been able to answer his former question . what the hell , it appeared as though he was doing all these on purpose. Perhaps he wanted to intimidate me lime how my ex-husband was doing of recent .

No way , I did not like it that way . It made me recall all the humiliation that my ex had made me go through . No way , I was not going to let myself go back to that situation . I did not deserve that torture just once again .

“Nothing , I actually have to go away .’ I said suddenly getting up and then moving to the other side of the living room .

“What , are you f*****g serious ?” he questioned me . I could of course detected that he was actually pissed .

“What !yes I am and I am actually going away . I don’t have any business being here .” I said again . I could not even tell why I was like this .

“Are you okay ?” it was what he asked me . I stared at him wondering if he was actually upright , I mean had he even heard what I had said because his responses were not at all what I needed and could not answer the statement that I had asked him .

“Yes , I am . It is actually as if it is you who is not okay .” he challenged me back . I swear I saw him smile though it lasted something like a microsecond . This was the first time that I had seen him do him smile.

He had the most breathe-taking smile if I could describe it briefly .

“Me, you telling me that I am not okay yet it is actually you who f*****g kidnapped me.” I muttered . I could not even tell where the hell I was getting the annoyance towards him .

“I want to go . That is the only thing that I want from you . I want to leave this place . I cannot be with Mafias like you . People who kill others .”I expressed now tears flowing down my cheeks .

“Please, I know they are waiting for me .” I added. My subconscious glared at me in a very distasteful way but I did not give a damn at all. All I wanted was to get out of here . Being at Nathan’s place was much worse that Wolf’s my ex-husband.

“I cannot share a house with a murderer, a gambler ,in fact some one like you .” I went on to lament . I made sure that I did not look into his direction even once so I didn’t know how he even reacted to this at all.

I went silent for about a minute hoping to get a reply from him but there was none which gave me a go head to finish all that I wanted without any fear or favor . suddenly , I turned around and moved towards the direction where he was .

I took baby steps until when I was finally standing right in front of him . I did not think twice before I quickly went on my knees right in front of him .

“Pleas, Nathan . Don’t kill me , I am a nobody and so there is no need of you having to keep me here .” I pleaded with him . It was the only thing that I thought that could be easy for him to let me go . Perhaps I could go away from all these troubles and begin my life in a complete mew way .

Finally , I rose my head and looked up in his eyes. I had not dared stared at him even for a single second but this time I decided to do it . I did not care if looks could kill because I was ready to be killed by them.

Just like I expected , they were so unexplainable . That was what I had of course expected to come from him . For the little time that I had known him , there was not a single moment that I had even managed to read what was going on in his mind .

His eyes just contained that very strong dark shade that was better to leave that way without ever finding out what he is thinking . The better way was I getting out of this situation once and for all.

After making sure that I had said all that I had wanted to say , I instantly went silent . It was now his chance to reply to me . I only wished that he could let me go . That was the only thing that I wanted .

“Are you done ?” he finally spoke after what seemed like eternity . He spoke in a tone that almost swept me off my legs . It was such a powerful one that I could not even get the right words to use at all .

My mouth went open like there was something that it wanted to produce but I suddenly went silent once again . It went open once again and just like before I could not say out even s ingle word . It did not think that everything could even turn out to be as tensely as it was now .

“I cannot believe how ungrateful you are.”

“I mean I just saved you from dying on the street , took you to the best doctor who saved your life thought the unfortunate part is that the body died. I spent a night sleepless just for a nobody like you to come and insult me in my own house. Enough is enough, you can now go .” he articulated each word to me and any one could see that it contained a lot of venom .

It appeared like he was much more furious than what I even had imagined.

“Grace, come in.” he called out and in a blink of an eye one of the house managers came in immediately.

“Show her out!” was all he said and immediately departed from the living room .
