I sat in the car nervously. From time to time , I kept contemplating about how things have turned out in just a blink of an eye. Am right in the clear heading to the mansion of the mightier Nathan Millers . He is of course one of the most prominent business men in the whole country .

That way , I had a belief that he can get anything that he wants and he is free to choose when to be happy and when to be sad. I did not know that he could be so miserable and having people who are making his life difficult .

This world is so difficult and there are things that happen and you could never have imagined those could happen . Once again , I stared in the direction of the mystery man who is sleeping peacefully beside me.

I looked at him keenly , he seemed to be so stressed from a series of things. I thought of how his life had been . Was it just a mask that he used to make others believe that he is strong and yet in the actual sense he is actually not so .

He started to lean towards me . I contemplated about what to do but then decided to let him sleep peacefully on my shoulder . I felt useful. The driver continued to drive to normal a a familiar location . At least I still recall the events of that day . The day that changed my life completely. I doubted if they were events that could easily end like that .

They were so vivid in my head that going away could not seem a very easy thing at all. Very soon , we parked outside his mansion . Of course the very mansion that I had been to the other day .

I swear it is so hard to believe that people can be this rich . I mean this is not just being rich but rather

:So we are filthy rich . Wolf was rich but Nathan’s richness is exceptional. You might think that all the wealth of the most influential people was got and then combined Together . That is how I can view this whole thing .

“So we are here .” he said tiredly and that helped me to find out that he was awake. I panicked abit

He got out of the car and before I realized it he had come around and opened the door for me to get out . I murmured a thank you and after that moved after him as he moved towards the house.

There were guards everywhere who kept bowing for us as we passed by . And finally, we were right in the living room . A total of about five maids appeared. They wore the same uniform like the maids who were here the other day when I came.

I supposed he had already fired them as they had promised. You know he is someone who you cannot just predict what he is about .

“You are welcome, boss.”

“You are welcome madam.” They spoke in chorus and even bow down a little .

“Set dinner for my guest and I .”

“Ensure that the guest room is all ready for her .”

“Ensure that you do everything just like I want it to be .”

All the maids quickly disappeared as though they were running away from some form of punishment that was about to be inflicted onto them and then they were forgiven .

He helped me to sit down on the couch opposite him . I did not complain or even say a single word about it . I just let it be like that . He seemed to already not to be in his terms. I wonder how he is able to just change his mood in just a blink of eyes.

What followed between us was silence . In fact tensed silence . During this moment ,the only thing that went through my mind was what was he even thinking about . I just wished that I was able to know at least what he was thinking .

Perhaps he was thinking about me –but what the hell was that even . Soon , the tension was broken by the arrival of two maids.

“Everything is set .” they chorused but none of them dared to look directly at is . they rather kept their eyes to the floor. In fact , it seemed like it was even a taboo for them to once look up at us.

This house contained so many more mysteries than what I even thought that it had

“Okay , you can return to the kitchen .’’
