Nathan pov

The ride to the company seemed like forever . I felt like yelling at every one whom I found on the way but I did not have any way out . I still had to make sure that I kept my reputation without having to break it .

I was one of the most prominent business me in town and I was not going to risk losing it . Finally , I was able to get to the office . there were only a few workers who had reached.

Many of them stared at me as if they were seeing a ghost . Of course I knew that they did not expect me to be here at this time of the day . I mean so early in the morning .

As usual , I ignored most of their greetings and heard them groan . At this point , I did not give it a dumb . I had a bit of better things that I wanted to do at the moment .

I rushed past my office and went straight to that of Matt . I did not bother knocking but rather just stormed in making him shocked by my sudden entrance .

“Where is she?” I asked grasping as I tried to get breathe . I had lost a bit of breathe since I only rushed to get here.

“Calm down , please.” He said calmly sitting down, He looked so relaxed . In fact the look on his face was like there was nothing that he cared about in this world. It was like everything was moving in the perfect direction .

“f**k , off. Just tell me everything that is taking place . I have not just come here to be left in suspense. “ I could not help but yell hard to him . He was wide eyed at this moment . It was like he did not expect me to behave in the way I was doing .

I swear I also could not tell what the hell was wrong with me fore sure . I was here yelling at my best friend over a woman that I hardly know. It was actually something that I also could not control myself even when I wanted to . It was just so much for me to take in .

His frightened face slowly softened and then it was followed by a simple smile on his face .

“Man , you are really getting out of hand .” he said with a chuckle . I swear I did not know if it was a compliment, if it was a mockery but my argue to know how rain was too much for me to give a damn about that .

I rushed once or twice and moved straight to where he was sitting and in one swift got hold of his collar beginning to pull at it .

“Man , this is a matter of death and life. Just Tell me where Rain is .”

“Man , let me go .” he pleaded with me and that is when I slowly started to get back to my senses and I let him go . I swear this was actually getting out of hand .

“Am so sorry , Matt . I cannot even tell what I was thinking about when I was doing that .” I apologized for what I had just done.

“It is okay , I can understand what you are going through .” he said with that smile of his which is always there when he actually wants to make fun of me but this time I just let it go . I had to make sure that I got the information that I wanted instead of just leaving me in suspense.

“Man , even if you deny it I can tell that you are in love .” he said . I paused a bit trying to absorb what Matt had just said . I quickly shan it away, I did not want it to sink much into me . It was not a part to accept.

“No way , she can never be my type .”I was quick to defend myself.

“Okay .” he replied single wordily .

I just needed the information that had made me come here .

“So what do you have to say?” it was hard for me to keep back what i wanted to know from here.

Matt stood up and moved coming towards me . He looked a bit nervous if that was what I could say . I was now clear that there was something that he was not telling me . It was actually the same thing that had made him look a bit off the other day.

“The thing is I know Where Rain is .”

“What?” I asked just to make sure that I had heard everything quite properly . How was this even possible . Where had he got her? It was something very had for me to even figure out what it was .

“Tell me what the hell you are talking about ?” I asked her surely wondering what was happening . He went ahead and explained everything to me. At the end of the day , I did not know if to be happy or sad or rather disappointed in him . I was in just a mixture of decisions to make .

But first forward, I had to make sure that I found Rain . I know she had not tried me quite well but I still had to go . Matt just stared at me as I moved towards the door and then out of his office without saying any more word to him despite him telling me that I had to reconsider what I was even doing .

But what did he even want me to reconsider for sure .
