Asher and I were lying on the couch watching vampire diaries.
I got us both hooked on the show.
I could hear Rachel walking down the stairs. It was lunchtime and she was just now waking up.
She went clubbing last night, she wanted Asher and me to go, but I had to work so I couldn't go.
I don't know why Asher didn't go.
"Morning Rachel"
I look at her as she walks over to us and plops down on me, who is lying on Asher.
I start playing with her hair and Asher moves slightly so that the both of us were not putting all our weight on him.
I smile at him and he kissed my forehead.
"What's wrong?" I ask Rachel
"I want a boyfriend. Someone who will look at me like Asher looks at you"
She was pouting now and I chuckle at her. "He will come eventually. Don't rush it"
It was quiet for a couple of minutes, except for the tv, which was still playing TVD.
Asher pauses the show and turns to look at me.
"Jake wants to hang out tonight."
I can feel Rachel perk up a little bit.
I wonder...
Does she like Jake?
I nodded "Okay. Is he coming here?"
He nods and smiles at me.
Jake was one of Asher's best friends. I have known Jake for a long time as well.
"Okay, what time? And is he bringing me food?"
He laughs. "Yes, he is bringing Chick-fil-a"
I clap my hands "Yay!"
Asher smiles at me and kisses my forehead.
"Hey Rach?"
Rachel moves a little bit to look at me "Yeah?"
"Girly time?"
I smile at her and she gets the hint. She perks up and nods.
I get up from Asher who whines in complaints.
"Nooooo"
I look at Asher who is like a little kid. "Asher"
"What?"
I shake my head at him and smile.
"I will be back, I'm only upstairs"
"Fine"
Rachel and I walk upstairs and go into her room.
"I have a question for you."
Rachel looks at me unsure of what I have to ask her.
"What?"
"DO you like Jake?"
"WHAT!!?? NOoOOoo"
She doesn't look me in the eye. SO I know that she is lying to me.
"Rachel. I know you are not lying to me right now"
She sighs "Fine, yes I do like him, but it's just a crush. It will go away eventually"
I Squeal "Ahhhh! I am going to get you guys together. I will be your cupid!!"
She shakes her head. "No, he probably doesn't like me"
"Mmmm hmmm"
I look at her and I shake my head. I know that he likes her. I have caught him staring at her so many times before. And I "beat" it out of him. He likes her.
"I am going to get you two together. I swear to you."
She shakes her head "For the love of God, don't do anything embarrassing"
"No promises"
