Chapter Five The day after Louisa and I made love Ravel came by my flower stand—the first time since my evenings with Louisa began. “You must have been giving me my time,” I speculated. “Time for Louisa,” I added when he looked bewildered at my comment. “How odd,” he said. “I was in Italy on a buying trip.
