Cassius strode along the balcony outside his study. He paced so much that the guards and his court were worried he would wear a track through the stone. He was waiting though. His eyes searched the horizon. Looking for any flicker, any spec incoming towards them that said he was returning. Sirius had taken flight as soon as the order was given. Cassius thought back to the day prior when the lanky human had appeared at the castle gates.
“I have an urgent message for the ruler here. Whatever you call whoever's in charge. It's important! Please!” Peter had shouted. He was desperate and willing to risk getting captured or killed to get this message across.
