When we walked back into the pack house, I saw my mum poke her head out of the kitchen, then she immediately ran toward us. As soon as she was in front of me, she excitedly asked, "How are things going with your mate?"
I shrugged my shoulders, then I nonchalantly replied, "I feel the mate bond connection, but I haven't decided if I'm going to accept him as my mate."
"What does he want?" she curiously asked.
"He's being very persistent about me not rejecting him. He is adamant that he won't accept a rejection from me," I explained with indifference.
