I hate stairs, she thought as she opened the door to her grand chamber. Her legs felt stiff and her feet felt oppressed after climbing the seemingly endless flights. She turned around as she closed the door. She reveled at the sight of her familiar room. The black stone floor and the subtly-glowing blue walls felt like home away from home. She neared the four-poster-bed. There was a box neatly placed on top of the folded blankets. She sat down on the side of the cushion and took the box. A red tie was wrapped around it like a ribbon.
