Silence. The moon above was hung like a silver locket across a bleeding night sky. The evening air became less humid as the flames around the burning city nearly died out. The fact that the darkness was nearing its end as the dawn was fast approaching didn't settle Amy's racing mind. She thought that the sun rising soon would give her a glimmer of hope of ending this ordeal. She thought wrong. Instead, she felt that this night would be one of the longest she has ever spent. After the Princess abruptly vanished into thin air, the scene was filled by an empty soundlessness.
