Cameron's POV:
With the way he was looking at me, the look in his eyes, all I could think about was him throwing me into a vacant room and raping me. I've already felt how strong he is with how hard he pushed me up against this wall. I wanted more than anything to find a way out of his hold and run as hard as I could to the subway station or on a bus to get away from him. The words that he said along with the stare filled with what looked like s****l hunger was causing me to feel fear and hurt for what he was planning on doing to me but at the same time, I felt a strong feeling of anger. I felt insulted by the way he spoke to me, and what he was insinuating. You don't talk to a lady like that let alone one that you had just met! Anger overtook the feeling of fear very quickly.
"You're a disgusting pervert!" I shouted at him as I gave him a glare.
"I am not in any way referring to what you think I am, Cameron Lynn." He said devilishly while giving me a sinister smile.
My eyes widened in complete fear when he said my middle name. I know I didn't tell him that. How did he know? Has he been watching me? Is he more of a stalker than I thought, following me around and looking me up to find out as much information as he can? I suddenly felt a strong sense of danger with him. My anger was quickly diminishing. The strength I had just a moment ago dissipated quickly as the fear of the thought of him stalking me and researching as much as he could about me along with what his real intentions could be flooded my mind.
"Who are you? How did you know my middle name? I didn't tell you that." I told him as he just chuckled.
"You really have no idea who you are do you?" He asked me and I just stood there looking up at him in confusion.
Why does it sound like he knows more than what he has let on? That he knows something about me that I don't know? I couldn't help but wonder if what he was talking about had anything to do with the missing year and the fact that I can't remember anything about it.
"I don't know what you are talking about," I told him as my fear started to rise, hoping that maybe he would realize that I'm not who he thinks I am.
"I can't believe he let you go." He said as he came in closer to my neck and started to sniff me like an animal.
"I really would never have let you go especially after..." He started to say softly but didn't finish what he was saying as he placed his lips over my skin.
"What is it you want with me?" I asked him in a shaky voice.
"Something you have never dreamed of before." He answered against my neck, still not really answering my question as his cold breath fanned over my skin.
Just then the sounds of the door to the room my professor, Mr. Mansfield was in, opened. The only problem was, that we were on the side of the room where the door blocked us from him as he walked out and down the hallway away from us. We both looked over at him as he opened the door. Theo's really cold hand suddenly went over my mouth the moment I was getting ready to scream for help. My cries and screams were so muffled that the professor never heard me and continued to walk down the hallway, away from where we were standing.
"He wouldn't be able to save you anyway. He would just end up killing himself in the end." Theo said casually.
I started to feel hopeless and defeated. Theo was not at all who I thought he was and now I feel scared that I may potentially die tonight. I knew I should have listened to my gut instincts when I first met him last week. I knew even then that something was off about him and now I'm regretting not listening to my gut instincts.
Out of an act of desperation, I took the hand that he had let go of and took my fingers, and scratched down the side of his face as hard as I could. So hard that I broke open his skin with my nails. His head shot in my direction, causing me to scream more into his hand when I saw how red his eyes were. The pupils were even vertical, almost cat-like. It's possible to have contacts to change your eyes like that but not automatically as his did...right? His went from the soft gray color to this sudden deep red in a matter of seconds!
I then smelled this awful smell and looked over at his scratch marks only to see this dark almost blackish blood as if it was dead, slowly oozing out of the wounds that I had created. The smell that seemed to be coming from it was downright awful! It smelled like a decomposing corpse left out in the hot sun to bake. My eyes widened, even more, when I saw the marks start to heal quickly on their own. He just laughed when he saw my expression change and came down closer to my ear, causing me to put my free hand back on his chest and push. Regardless of how hard I pushed, I couldn't seem to move him an inch.
"You have no idea how bad I want to sample you right now." He laughed.
He happened to shift his weight to the other leg, widening his stance just a little. It allowed me to knee him as hard as I could right into his c**k. He pulled away from me just a little, releasing his grip on my wrist, and groaned in pain. He moved just enough for me to run. I dropped my bag that held my laptop off of my shoulder and I took off as fast as I could down the hallway, screaming in hopes that someone would hear me even if I no longer felt that anyone could save me from whatever it is that he is.
I pushed through the double doors that led outside into the darkness and turned into the grass in hopes that I could lose him in the side yard of the building where there aren't as many lights. I thought I might have a chance of losing him until he was suddenly right in front of me and I ran right into him. I never saw him, he wasn't there a second ago! It felt like I hit a brick wall at full speed. It knocked me clean off of my feet, causing me to fall back onto the ground knocking the air out of my lungs again and causing me to cough several times to catch my breath.
"Your scent, I have to taste. I must know how and why." He growled as he leaned down and grabbed me by the arms and lifted me up from the ground.
'What are you talking about?" I asked him in fear as he brought me closer to him and his eyes changed to red again right in front of my eyes.
"Your blood, it's different. Not normal." He commented as his eyes fell on my neck.
Even in the pitch-black night, I could still see his eyes. They practically glowed in the dark a deep red almost maroon color. My heart was beating so hard in my chest that it hurt and it almost caused me to think I was going to have a heart attack. The sight of his eyes was terrifying! It wasn't possible to change your eyes let alone to change the pupils into a vertical line like a cat's eye. Everything in my mind was screaming, telling me that this wasn't possible, this wasn't real and I had to be hallucinating. The fear in my body was enough for me to know that I couldn't escape him. All I could do was try to distract him.
"My blood?" I asked him, thinking that if I kept him talking that maybe I could delay the inevitable.
"It's different, somehow." He said softly as he came in closer to my neck and started to sniff again.
The way he was sniffing me, was really creeping me out. The way he talked about my blood and how he apparently could smell it was also creepy and disgusting all at one time. It made me think he was delusional and completely out of his mind. Blood can't be smelled through the body. Whatever he thinks is happening, it's all in his head. He obviously has some sick fetish with red eyes and blood.
He suddenly pulled his head away from me, lifted me off of the ground a few inches, and threw me. I screamed as I landed on the hard ground on my shoulder. The pain was excruciating, causing me to cry out in pain even more.
"Mmmm, yes, get that blood moving to the surface." He snickered as he took a few steps closer to me.
"Stay away from me!" I shouted and tried to push with my feet to get away from him.
My shoulder was killing me and it hurt to move my fingers or even bend my arm. If I didn't know any better, it was broken or at least fractured, possibly dislocated. The force that he had when he threw me was very strong. So strong that I hit the ground much harder than I think I normally would have if he wasn't as strong as what he is. All that told me was he was stronger than what is humanly possible.
"I can't do that, not anymore." He said as he knelt down and laid his body over mine.
He pushed his way between my legs, causing me to lay on my back on the hard bumpy ground. With my arm in no condition to use and my legs spread, I wasn't much use to myself in getting away from him, not anymore, not in this condition.
"Yes, you can. I won't tell anyone that you did this." I told him hoping that I would convince him to stop what he was doing even though I know he won't.
They never leave you alone when you tell them that. The movies and television shows tell you that they don't but that doesn't mean I can't give it a try. Trying anything is better than trying nothing at all.
"Won't happen. I already have your scent. I will forever crave you. Besides, others will come for you too." He said with a smirk and I took my good hand and pushed hard on his face, trying to push him away from me.
He grabbed my wrist and slammed it down on the ground beside my head with such force that I cried out in pain. The sharp pain shot through my arm as he pushed it down and squeezed it.
"You're just making me hungrier than I already am and I may not be able to control myself." He informed me, confusing me even more with the way he is talking.
I couldn't figure out at all what it is that he wants with me. He acts like he wants to eat me...oh s**t!
"Are you a c-cannibal?" I asked with a shaky voice and a stutter.
All my question did was cause him to laugh almost hysterically as if I just told the funniest joke he had ever heard. It caused me to think that my question was one of the stupidest questions I could have ever asked.
"That's one term you could use to describe what I want to do or what I am." He said in midst of his laughter.
He slowly came down close to my neck again and ran his lips over my skin. I felt his tongue run along my neck as a moan erupted from his lips. I quickly turned my head as fast as I could and bit down on the only piece of flesh I could get a hold of. I held as hard as I could, even when he pulled back yelling. The taste of his blood was awful. It was the worst, most foul-tasting I had ever tasted. Once he was pulled away from me, I spit the piece of flesh out of my mouth as fast as I could.
"You b***h!" He shouted at me as his hand came up and hit me hard in the face, causing me to cry again in pain.
"I should drain you right here!" He shouted with a hissing noise.
A loud growling noise filled the air the moment Theo's mouth opened wide as if he was going to bite down on me. Everything around me was moving so fast that I never caught the object that ran into Theo, knocking him off of me. I tried to look over at what was happening but it was happening behind me and I couldn't look up enough to see it. All I could hear was the shrieking hissing and growls as if there were animals fighting each other to the death. The scent of that dead blood started to fill my senses as more filled the air.
I could hear branches breaking and large objects hitting the trees but not once did they move into my view. I would have tried to move to look to see what was going on if it wasn't for the severe pain in my shoulder and my wrist.
'You come near her again and I will kill you!" I heard a familiar voice and turned my head to try to find who it had belonged to.
I heard his steps as he walked closer to me and knelt down beside me. When I turned to look at him, my eyes started to feel so heavy. I was getting exhausted suddenly. I felt his hands slide underneath my body as he picked me up. I pulled my hand closer to my body and hissed in pain as my shoulder was pressed up against his body.
I could feel the coldness of him. His hands and body were just as cold as Theo's. I leaned into his body as he carried me bridal style through the yard of the University. I looked up to see who was holding me but I wasn't expecting to see who I saw. He looked the same as he did before. He looked down at me but didn't give me a smile. Instead, he appeared to look at me with fear or worry in his eyes.
"Clayton?" I asked softly.
"Shhh, rest." He answered and looked away from me.
I leaned my face into his body and closed my eyes. I felt so calm and safe in his arms that I let the sleep take over.
