14 Nathan was at Burke’s coffee machine, pouring out what felt like his dozenth mug – it was needed now more than ever since dawn had come and gone, meaning his shift was technically over, and he was tired beyond belief - when Georgie entered the office. He paid no attention to her until after he had finished at the coffee machine and taken his first sip. “What have you got?” he asked finally. Georgie held up the file in her hand. “First results are in from the tech guys,” she said. Nathan hoped it was good news. “Have they found anything?” “No idea,” Georgie admitted. “I haven’t had a chance to take a look.
