Chapter 6 Blood Brother“Men, to arms!”
“Contact, contact!”
Shouts came from every direction. The clash of steel echoed throughout the forest. Lacey thought it a dream until something landed on top of her.
“What in the nine-hells is…?”
The beast on top of Lacey was heavy, crushingly so. A vile stench lay into her nostrils and sent the mage to gag. She was pinned in place. Lacey tried to roll away. Only, after the creature rose and continued its fight could she see what was happening.
“Water Trolls!”
