ONE WEEK LATER
All week, all I did was watch the little blue dot on my phone as it went to our old school and then back into town, moving away from me. By Thursday, it didn’t make me as frustrated as it did the first time. I was used to it and found it comforting to know exactly where she was. Today was her day off and the little dot was unmoving. My little mate was home.
I wondered what she was doing. Was she catching up on her sleep? I chuckled internally recalling how angelic she looked in her sleep. As soon as her eyes opened, the fire in them burned bright and her true character shined through. “Alpha! Are you coming or not?” Robbie asked with a raised eyebrow. f**k, this was the third or fourth time today I’ve been caught not paying attention.
