Winter Hart I took a few minutes to calm my breathing before standing up on shaking legs and returning to the VIP box. I returned to my seat beside Aaron to finish watching the game. Sydney turned around and gave me a pointed look. I could feel a blush creeping up my neck. No one knew what I just did with Jake, but I felt like she could see right through me. “So, how is Jake?” She asked sickly sweet. “Oh, um, he’s okay,” I stammered and she lifted a brow. “He’s back on the ice, isn’t he,” I pointed out. “I’m glad he’s okay,” Aaron added, allowing me to turn my attention away from my friend and back to the game.
