Monica POV
My blood turns to ice when J reveals that he knows about my pup.
"What an interesting turn of events." He removes the needle from my arm and walks out the door. I'm not sure if I should be relieved or terrified. I look at the nurse who is left standing there looking everywhere but at me before she turns to leave.
"How could you?" I bark out in a hoarse voice, "do you know what he's going to do to me? Do you know what he's already done? If I was a human I'd be dead by now. I'm basically a human as it is. He will kill me and my pup, how could you?!"
