"I need mate."
"She's running with Lexi, our meeting is almost over."
"No, I need you to get her now. She hasn't checked in with us, I dont' know where they are, and I can't reach her. I need my mate."
I can feel Xavier's agitation and I realize he's right, it's been awhile since she checked in. She usually checks in with me every half hour. I look at my watch, it's been almost forty-five minutes since I've heard from her.
"Scott, can you hold on a minute?" I interrupt my head warrior during our meeting.
"Yeah, of course, everything okay?"
"Monica went for a run and it's been a while since she's checked in. Xavier just tried to link her and couldn't get through, she's not responding and he can't reach her or Lexi."
