“So, what were you able to find?” I asked Noah as soon as I saw him at the station. He still had his beanie on his head to shield him from the cold and gloves on his hand and a steaming cup of coffee. God, coffee sounded good. I ended up staying the whole weekend with Wren. I'm not sure why I used the excuse of snow to stay. Marley was all too happy to play in the snow with the horses and I used that time to spend with Wren. We may have been working around the farm but it was nice to just relax with her. Get to know her on her terms. See who she was around those she worked with from a new point of view. Everytime i looked at her it was like a punch to the gut. She was so damn beautiful and she never wore an ounce of makeup. I had never seen her in it.
