A low chuckle left Landon's lips as he shook his head slowly. He turned to me, his gaze a mixture of sadness and pain. "Do you want to know why I didn't tell you about her, mother?" He asked, taking a step closer to her, his hands clenched beside him.
"It's obvious." Queen Athena purred, shooting me a disgusted glare. "You're ashamed of her. I would be ashamed and embarrassed by her too. I can't believe the moon goddess would make you wait for years and give you this—this.." She scrunched up her face in disgust as she pointed at me.
