Soom spent the rest of her weekend relaxing, talking with old friends and speaking long-distance with Mike, but she seemed happy enough. She also visited the old Lady in The Tree on Sunday morning, before catching the afternoon flight from Phitsanulok as planned. Lek, Craig, Ayr, Ross and Soom had a meal in Tops Hotel before the flight and less than just two hours later, she was sitting in her home with her husband.
She phoned to say that all was well, and that Mike seemed pleased she was home again because the house was full of her favourite flowers. Lek was less impressed with Mike’s flower trick – it was the second time in a month that he had pulled that one - which only involved phoning the florist, but she didn’t say anything to burst her daughter’s bubble.
