"Am I allowed to ask you that?" He asked. Vernon only stared at him and flicked his tongue.
"As you said, you're Blane's husband,"
The room went silent. Of course, Knight wanted to know how Blane's condition is. He cared for his omega. He just doesn't know if Vernon wanted to talk about Blane with him.
"Yes but as far as I can remember, I'm here for business and not for a talk. Goodbye," Knight said his final sentence and left the room, leaving Vernon with raised brows.
Knight didn't want to involve Blane in their mess. He just wanted Blane to rest and get well. Although, he's not allowed to see him but still he knows that Vernon won't send him anywhere and Blane is surely okay. When this thing is finished, he will make sure that he will get Blane back.
