Knight didn't ask more questions about why Blane would run some errands that late at night. He never goes out at the time like this but maybe he badly needed it. He heard the door close when he was walking upstairs when he realized that Blane was wearing sweatshirts. He forgot to bring an extra jacket. It was still winter.
Knight ran downstairs and saw that Blane had hung up the jacket that he would be bringing on the table beside the main door. He must've forgotten to bring it since they had a small talk before he left. Knight didn't wait any more minutes and ran after Blane. He took the jacket from the table together with his keys.
