When I woke up, Xavier was not in bed. I quickly got up and sat on the bed. I roamed my eyes throughout the room. But he was nowhere in the room. I knocked on the bathroom door before opening it. But he was not even in the bathroom.
I tied my hair to a pony, brushed my teeth and washed my face. And I went down to the dining area. Xavier was not even there. House helps were doing their routine jobs. I asked a maid about Xavier, “Excuse me, did you see Xavier this morning?”
She bowed in front of me and greeted me, “Good morning, ma’am! Sir left early in the morning and told us that we would inform you and make sure that you would get whatever you needed. Please tell me what you will have for breakfast?”
