CAMERON I follow her down the hall, speeding before she can close the door to the laundry room, and stop her with my palm. She doesn't fight it, she lets go, rubbing her eyes, and saunters into the small room, leaning her palms on the sink, her head slumped between her shoulders with her back to me. If I can't surrender to my desire for her, let me at least hold her; we agreed to that. I walk to her; she still won't turn, so I grab her small waist.
