"Are you coming, right?" Cameron asks Jake, who appears exhausted from running.
"Can I have a break with my girl?" Jake playfully asks, coming over and delivering a light kiss on my macaroni-filled mouth, wrapping his arms around my shoulder from the back. I melt, smiling as though being tickled.
"Come on, let's have fun. It's an opportunity for Amy to see Portland."
Jake sighs, having no more defense in him. His eyes lower down to me, inquisitive of my decision, and then it would be final. I don't know, but it sounds fun.
