I looked up from the microscope, writing down my observations and notes quickly, leaning back into the scope despite my exhaustion. The small lab I sat in was attached to the medical ward we'd put into the cave system; bean-shaped and currently haphazardly filled with benches, equipment and a medical bed. The metal door Luca had installed buzzed, the decontamination system activating and dosing whoever stepped into it.
