POV: Damon
Zayla's eyes open as Courtney's body slumps over. I watch my mate to make sure she's ok. I know she said it takes a lot out of her to do this. I've been here for hours. In fact, the sun has already gone down. It's nighttime now. Zayla stands up. Her eyes roll back and she begins to drop. I catch her quickly before she hits the ground.
"Is she alright?" Landon asks. "She's fine. I asked Dad about it and he said that she'll be asleep for a while. She most likely won't wake until morning." Jordan responds. I'm glad to know that Randy has been helping Zayla. That means if anything goes wrong or I need help he will know what to do. "By the way Rose wants to know if Zayla is staying with you tonight," Jordan asks.
