Today is a good day. I got my mate all to myself all day today. Zayla is sitting comfortably on the little couch in my office. She has my tablet, reading the books that her uncle sent. It's Saturday so I'm doing paperwork. Saturdays and Sundays are the days I catch up on pack work.
I normally miss a few days a week of school due to being alpha. I missed yesterday so I didn't really get to see my little Valentine. That's ok though I'm making it up today.
Zayla and I keep peeking up at one another. She always looks away when I catch her but I don't when I'm caught. Like now I can feel her gaze on me. An idea comes to mind. I wonder if she heard it.
