XI
Dean ended up spending the night. I wake up sore and so I carefully stand and try to walk to the bathroom as slow as possible. My parents had texted me to tell me they weren't going to be home until after I had left for school due to a schedule they were trying to stay on track of. They would be in the office all night designing the perfect wedding and parties in the shortest amount of time.
After I showered and brushed my teeth I laid back down since it was still early. I didn't fall back asleep but instead waited until Dean woke up. He stirred before opening his eyes and stared at me. "Hey beautiful." He smiled and I smiled back. "Last night was perfect wasn't it?" He asked and I felt my stomach drop. Despite the wrongness and disappointment I felt from last night I couldn't let him know that.
"Good morning, and yes it was everything I had hoped for." I responded and he kisses me tenderly before standing up. I take a moment to check him out as his nakedness made its way to the bathroom at least one thing that would never change was my attraction towards him.
I hear him turn on the shower and I take the opportunity to get dressed. It was still hot outside yet the bruised handprint on my arm had turned a darker shade of purple and blue. I sighed picking out another long sleeve shirt and pulling it on my body. Hoping it wouldn't be long before it went away.
I then put on my jeans and my converse. My hair wasn't anything special but I went over to my vanity and curled the tips to make it look decent. By the time Dean got out of the shower I was putting on some mascara and he grins at me through the mirror. "You're gorgeous you know that?" He tells me and I feel my cheeks redden at the compliment.
Coming up to me and kissing me, I tried hard to forget about the night before. Maybe that's just what s*x is like and it isn't supposed to matter because of how you feel for each other. "I think you left some clothes a while back, they should be in my closet." I tell him pointing to the two doors that leads to my closet.
He went to it and dug through it to find one of his white tees and some jeans. I guess he was right about leaving clothes "just in case."
"Are you ready, babe?" He asks looking at me, we still had a good fifteen minutes before we even had to leave for school. "I thought we could stop off at a McDonalds or something and get breakfast." He suggested which makes me realize just how hungry I am. I didn't eat when I got home last night and after Dean got there I didn't really think about food. My stomach grumbles in response and Dean smirks.
"I guess that's a yes then, c'mon." He grabs my hand and we go to his car putting our bags in the back seat before driving off to McDonalds.

"Okay, give us your assignments and I'll have them graded by Monday." Mr. Morgan tells the class. We all stand up and turn them in, going back to our seats.
Dean was being extra lovey-dovey today by holding my hand when Mr. Morgan wasn't looking and kissing my cheek when he turned to write on the board. I'm sure Mr. Morgan caught us a few times but he remained silent and I'm thankful for that. Even though, I had a feeling I would be hearing it after school.
When class was over I felt relieved that he never called me to stay after to hand me that stupid detention note. Then again maybe he didn't notice.
"You what?!" Bee and Jenny ask in unison. We are at lunch, Dean and the other boys are getting us some food like the perfect gentlemen they are so I had the perfect opportunity to tell them about last night. "I can't believe it I thought you were gonna wait until graduation." Jenny says in disbelief.
"I thought I was too." I respond with a shrug.
"How was he?" Becca raises an eyebrow and sips on her water.
"I don't know how was he supposed to be?"
"Well did you...?"I knew what she was talking about and I shook my head.
Her eyes widened and she choked on her water." You didn't?! Girl! That's the best part." Jenny said while Bee tried to control her coughing and choking.
"I don't know maybe next time?" I said hoping to end this conversation before they get back.
"We'll talk later." Bee planned and I nod looking behind me to see Dean and the boys walking up to us with trays in their hands.
"Thanks, babe." Jenny kisses Jake on the cheek.
Bee does the same and I don't get a chance because Dean's lips come down on mine the second he sits down. It shocks me but soon I relax and follow his movements. We break apart and I smile. shyly at the timing. Looking over I see Jenny with her mouth wide open and an apple on the table where she had dropped it. Rebecca is grinning from ear to ear, I think she was enjoying that a little too much.
I clear my throat and pick up my sandwich to take a simple bite from it. Dean chuckled at the table and starts a conversation with Luke while we eat.
"So how's Mr. Morgan's class? Still giving you detention?" Jake asks me and I shake my head.
"It's fine and no, I'm his TA now." I answered taking another bite.
I thought I heard Dean growl a little beside me but ignore it. "What? How'd that happen?"Becca questioned, amused.
"Well, I guess he liked the work I was doing in detention so he made me his TA." I shrugged.
That was the end of the conversation, no scoffs or tantrums like Dean gave me yesterday. They just accepted it, it was then that I realized it really is no big deal. And yet again Dean was just over reacting. I hope that we got past that last night.
With that, the conversation was immediately switched,"So you know how my dad throws this really stupid dinner party every year with all of his coworkers and everything?" Jenny asks the group who all nod. Usually we all find a way to get out of that since he invites all of us.
"Yeah?"
"Well it's tomorrow night so we need to figure out what we're going to do instead." She finishes.
"How about the club?" Bee asked and I rolled my eyes. She was always the wild type. Wanting to go drinking and partying. Becca was always the stereotypical 'bad girl of the group.'
"We're not even old enough to drink."
"So, Luke don't you have a cousin that's a bouncer?" Bee inquired turning her gaze to her boyfriend who nods. "Well that's settled, so what do you say? Night club anyone?"
"Yeah that would be awesome!" Jenny quips sounding way too excited about going to a club.
"Alright then it's settled. Jenny and Livia you can get ready at my house and we'll meet you boy's at RAVE." I agree knowing that the 'getting ready at my house' line was just so we have girl time to talk. And I'm unsure if I want to talk about s*x with Dean. It feels wrong on some level.
Still it would probably do me some good to get some info on it and I'm probably just being over dramatic about it. It was the first time it's probably supposed to feel bad and awkward. I have hope for the next time. Maybe there will be pleasure instead of pain, once he's not worried about hurting me.
