VALENTINO’s POV.
After my call, I went back to Inara's room to actually check on her because I noticed she was a bit shaken after Rocco found out. Left for me, I don't even care in the least because I know Rocco won’t tell a word to anyone but I needed to assure that sweet kitten of mine that nothing was ever going to happen.
A frown forms on my face when I open her door and she is nowhere to be found. Not in the closet or even the bathroom.
Walking out of her room, I walk down the hallway and I hear her voice coming from Rocco’s room. The thought of it makes me angry, what the hell is she doing there?
Just as I make to push open the door, it opens up from the other side and her face comes into view, anger immediately washing over me.
