Jealousy?
This is the first time I have ever felt it in my entire life. Hearing that Rocco made breakfast for her and seeing her talking to that man made me so jealous that I felt like I was going to explode.
Yeah I told her to forget about what happened between us because I was pissed and now I regret saying that. I didn’t expect her to get that angry and how I wanted to pull her into my arms and tell her how sorry I was but I had already brought the car to a halt in front of the building.
Inara doesn’t even make any attempt to climb out of the car, she just continues to stare into her phone with an angry look on her face.
“We are here” I announce.
“You can go on in” she answer, “I will pick a cab and go over to Jess”
“That’s more than an hour from here, princess”
