“Earth to Lexie!” Came a familiar voice from behind, causing Lexie to jump a little as she was yanked out of her thoughts. She turned to see Trevor casually walk past her with his tab in his hands as he winked at her.
“Oh, Trevor…” Lexie said with a smile, trying to mask her carelessness. Trevor nodded at her and disappeared into a corner, not saying anything else to her. She wasn’t surprised. He hardly spoke, except to Bella, who by the way, hadn’t come in to work. And it was quite late in the afternoon.
