When I finally opened my eyes the room was dark, which meant I had slept the whole day away . Already the evening shadows were climbing the walls.
Stretching so my back cracked I let my hands fall into the mattress and found….
Nothing.
The tangled blankets were cold and I was alone in bed.
Tears came unbidden into my eyes. Damn Diablo. Damn him straight to hell. He had gone and done it again.
When would I ever learn? He had taken my virginity and kicked me from the car and I had let him come back for seconds? Ok I hadn’t actually let him get his own pleasure before I fell asleep but that wasn’t the point. I didn’t want to be that woman.
The kind that was so desperate for affection that she fell into bed with a man knowing he was using her.
