The following day, I woke up to an empty bed and a note that says that he'll be gone until the evening since he had to meet up with the other Alphas. I frowned at the thought that he'll be gone for the day, but I guess Caleb and Johnson will be here. I cleaned myself and changed into decent clothing. When I went down, I saw Caleb and Johnson asleep without shirts on and probably more. I quietly tiptoed to the kitchen to grab myself something to eat. I looked around in the fridge and cabinets but somebody suddenly touched my shoulder and I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was one of the maids.
"You scared me..." I breathed out as I grasped my chest.
"I'm sorry Luna. Would you like some breakfast? I was just about to make some." she smiled.
