The following day, Nate disappeared for a while to fix the meeting with his father. I have to admit, I am once again nervous. Am I ready to actually hear the truth of why he did all of that? I don't want to be the type of person who will seek out revenge just because they found out the truth. I looked at myself in the mirror and took a deep breath. It's too late to back out now, and better than I get over it now than have to deal with it in the future. Maybe I should tell Nate? But I guess that would be hard on him as well considering that is his father and I am his mate. Ah, I'll cross the bridge when I get there.
