Chapter One
Where has she gone! I run all through the large house, trying desperately to find her, fear started to consume me, I was now frantic. Please Colin, from wherever you are please protect our girl, I was desperately praying inside.
How can a 2-and-a-half-year-old just vanish, what if she had made it to the pool? I ran through the hall way through to the gym area, and searched to pool area, she was not there, I was thankful she had not fallen into the water, I turned and ran again "Molly, Molly where are you" I was screeching now, I could not lose her, had I not lost enough in this life. My beloved husband, he had died 3 years ago in a fire the eve of my best friend’s ill-fated wedding. Nat and I had only escaped the inferno because she had been nervous and couldn't sleep so we had gone out for a walk around the grounds. Her husband world motorcycling champion Sabino Antlia had been Colin's teammate, we were all friends, as close as you can be in the competitive world of racing. I was shaking now still shouting "Molly, Molly" Sabino and Nathalie's home was so big, where could she have gone. I fell to my knee’s tears streaming down my face. Where was my little girl?
Again, I screamed in terror “MOLLY” Nathalie was with me now,
“Emily what has happened” she cried out to me
“I…I… cannot find Molly” I said through my sobs of despair
“SAB” Nathalie shouted as he approached “Molly has gone missing”
All at once Sab and Nathalie rushed around the house methodically searching every room, I was still in a blind panic trying to find my little girl.
“Where was she?” Nathalie asked, her face pale as she had a protective hand over her own large bump.
“In her bedroom but I must have left the gate open she is not there!” I shouted. I had been so tired last night maybe I had forgot to close it properly.
“Molly, where are you come out to play with Auntie Nat” she was shouting trying to keep fear from her voice.
My heart was beating so loudly in my ears, where was she.
“She has to be in the house Emily all the doors are locked” Sab told me
We continued our frantic search, hot tears streaming down my face. I could not lose her, my little girl, she was all I had left of him.
