The next day...
As my eyes fluttered open I notice some soreness in my body and I wondered why? What had happened to me last night? I turned my head to where my clock would be and about jumped out of bed, there laying in the bed next to me was a man I didn't know sleeping soundly. "Argh!" I scream out in surprise, then suddenly everything came flooding back to me and I remembered everything that had happened last night. He murdered someone and kidnapped me, I had just slept in the same bed as a murderer! He turns his face slightly towards me, he had woken up with my little outburst just a moment ago.
"Oh, Hello... I see you are awake!" his voice was low and hoarse.
A cold shiver ran down my spine, I was so scared of this man that I almost forgot about the position that I am currently in...
"I..." I start to speak, but then I see the man raise his eyebrow at me as if to shush me up. I watched quietly as he sat up and then climbed out of the bed, standing near the bed he continued to just stare at me making me feel uncomfortable. It was then that I realized that my hands were tied to the bed frame, preventing me from being able to move. I watched with wide eyes as this man leaned down closer to me, his presence oozed with appeal.
"What is wrong Luna?" he asks with a scowl on his face.
I blink up at this man, "How... how do you know what my name is?" I ask him, I wanted to back away from him, this man terrified me in many ways. I felt so uneasy with him so close to me.
I hear the chuckle come from him, "How do you think I know your name?" he smirks down at me. His smile was sinister, he radiated evil. I began to wiggle my hands trying to break free from the bonds that held me there. This man just continued to stare back at me, it looked to me as if this man enjoyed watching me struggle against the rope. My mind flashed to the dead corpse I had seen last night and I knew even though this man looked harmless that he was very capable of dangerous and deadly things. Keeping this in my thoughts, I started to get really nervous as I couldn't be sure what he was planning to do with me.
As I struggled some more against the rope, I watched as the man stares down at me. His eyes darken as he catches sight of my cleavage as my dress neckline dipped down and my boobs threatened to peek out of my dress. "You Bastard!" I scream out at him, "Stop looking at me like that! Just let me go... please, I won't tell anyone what I saw! I promise, please let me go!" I beg him with tears in my eyes, I wanted to get away from this man.
He lets out a laugh, I glare up at him in confusion... "Maybe I will, maybe I won't. But first, let us eat some breakfast. I'd like to get to know you a little bit. If I untie you, you've got to promise me that you will behave!" He spoke calmly, it was as if he was trying to stay calm.
I look up at him with a smile, "I will behave." I say quickly. I narrow my eyes at this man, I wondered what he was planning to do with me? Maybe he would tell me over breakfast? I silently wondered if anyone noticed that I disappeared from the party last night?
"Okay, good girl." He spoke softly. I watched him carefully as he steps up to me and unties the rope that was holding me to the bed, feeling the ropes release I gulp down some air as I sat up in the bed slowly. I was so afraid that if I moved too quickly he might think I was escaping and do something to hurt me. Staring up at the man, "What are you going to do with me?" I ask him voice shaking, I got so nervous because I wasn't sure if I wanted to wait for the answer. I wanted him to say that he was just going to let me go, that he knows I didn't mean to walk into the wrong room and catch him and his friends in the act that I did. I was only doing what my stepmom told me to do.
He smiles down at me, this man was so much taller than my small five foot three inches frame. "That depends darling, what exactly did you see last night? And, are you going to be telling anybody about what you saw?" He demands.
I gulp down some air but maintain eye contact with him. "You know that I won't tell anyone about what I saw last night. Please just let me go... I really didn't mean to walk in the wrong room last night, my stepmom just told me to go to the room to meet some man." I explain to him, he continues to stare back at me, narrowing his eyes at me. It was almost as if he was assessing me... to determine whether or not I was being 100% truthful with him right now.
"Oh is that so, and just who exactly where you going to meet?" he snaps at me inching closer to me, I got nervous as he got closer because I had no clue what he was going to do with me.
"Um, I don't know exactly... just some guy. She didn't tell me his name, or even why she wanted me to meet with him." I explain some more.
"Really now..." he leans in real close to me and lowers his voice, placing a well-calculated smirk on his face. "Is that so?" I gulp down some air as I stare back right into his dark grey eyes, I felt so completely nervous.
"Y-yes."
"Well then, what if I were to tell you that I might have been that man? Maybe you did walk into the right room after all?" he sends me a wink, and I stare back into his eyes as a shiver ran down my spine making me shake in fear... there was no way my stepmom would mean for me to meet a man like hi, right? He leans in towards me and I freeze because didn't know what he was doing. He has proven to me that he was a very dangerous man, at least I could gather that from everything I have seen so far.
"What are you doing?" I scream out-putting my hands out in front of me trying to block him from doing anything to me.
His smile grew deadly, "I am not doing anything you wouldn't enjoy my dear!"
"No... get away from me!" I scream out again backing up into the wall behind me, I could tell that my reaction pleased this man... he was enjoying himself. I needed to remember the training my father had paid for me to take, you see he believed that a woman of my stature needed to know how to at least protect myself so he had me complete some self-defense training awhile back. So as he drew closer to me I knew exactly what I needed to do to get away, I angled my hand striking out towards his nose. Feeling the crunch as my hand connected to his nose and at that moment I knew that I had to have broken his nose. I watch with wide scared eyes as he falls to the floor, it was then that I took off running towards the door. Flinging it open, I quickly glance down the hall. It looked as if I was still in the Hotel from last night, and that was good. That meant I could probably get away from this man real easy.
I began to run down the hallway, stumbling over my feet a bit like the drug they used to knock me out still effected me. "STOP!" I could hear the yells coming from the man, he was right behind me. I had to keep pushing myself to get away or he was going to catch up to me, A door opens a little way down the hall and I watched as a handsome man leans out and just stares at me with a blank look on his face. I couldn't help but feel that he looked familiar and as I went running by him, he reaches his arms out and grabs my wrist knocking me back down to the ground and I knew right there in that instant that I was in deep trouble. I was so screwed, because the man that I was running from was sure to catch up to me now. "Damn it girl, I said stop!" I heard him growl out, I try to stand back up but as I prepared myself to run again, the man tightened his grip and pulled me backwards even more into his hard chest refusing to release his hold of me. Why was this man helping him?
"Hey, it's okay boss. I've got her, she's ain't getting away from me." I heard the man holding me say out loud and I gulped down some air. Could this man have been one of the other guys in the room last night?
I watch as the man who had kept me tied to his bed came running up, "Thank you... she sure is a tricky little one. She actually got the jump on me of all people, this is one that I am going to really have to watch." I heard him chuckle as he stops right in front of me, he reaches out and grabs ahold of my wrist taking me away from the other guy, he begins to pull me back to his room and I was not just going to let that happen so I smack my hand against his chest as I raise my voice at him.
"Look I told you that I won't tell anyone about what I saw, so can't you just let me go?" I plead with him, I hear the low growl escape his lips before he raises his voice at me as he catching site of others walking down the hallway giving him a peculiar glance.
"Shut up, right now." he smiles at the couple as he drags me back to the room, I look at the couple and try to plead with my eyes with them to help me. It was then that I realized that if I didn't do anything now, then I wasn't ever going to get away from this man.
"Help! Help me... somebody..." I scream out as loud as I could, he quickly covers my mouth with his hand to sush me. I widen my eyes as I feel him pick me up off of the ground. It was then that another door opens, probably from hearing my scream and a woman I knew all too well pokes her head out of the room. She gives me a puzzling look, then looks at the man who had just set me back down on the ground but refused to let go of my wrist. Of all the people that could have come to my rescue, it had to be her?
"Darla... please I..." I start, but before I could finish my sentence I heard the growl roll through the man's chest and felt something sharp poke against my waist from behind me.
"Shut up right now or you die, I will not tell you again!" he whispers into my ear, causing me to gulp down some air. Did he have a knife? I couldn't deny that this man could and possibly would kill me if he was given the chance, he was a very dangerous man and I couldn't deny it anymore.
"Luna? What are you doing? Where is Bryan? I thought you were with Bryan last night... who is this man?" she asks looking between the two of us, I could feel the point of the knife press hard against my skin, I got the warning and didn't exactly know what he wanted me to do here. The one thing I was pretty sure about was that Bryan was more than likely the dead man I had found last night... meaning that I didn't get the wrong room last night.
