CHAPTER 22 After the ambassador leaves, Hee-Man does too. This time I’m pretty sure it’s for good because he offers to shake my hand, something he’s never done before, and all of a sudden I’m reminded of AJ crying as he says goodbye to Harry on that asteroid. I wonder if Hee-Man still has the flash drive and if he’s going to finish Armageddon when he gets home. I’m drained after reading my letter from Grandma Lucy and writing my response. As comforting as it is to know I haven’t been forgotten by folks back home, it also accentuates how alone I am. I did what I could to keep my letter positive and uplifting.
