Roger was taken aback at the child's – his child's touch. He had never had a child run up to him like this. Usually, they took one glance at his face and ran the opposite direction. Roger relaxed and slowly crept his hands behind Evan to return the hug. He had to admit, it felt very weird to hug such a little person but when he felt Evan's excitement, Roger could not help but melt a little. He was glad the boy liked the decorations and design. It was no surprise he liked astronauts, so Roger had ordered his interior designer to make the room an astronaut theme. It had turned out amazing, thankfully his designer knew exactly what he was looking for and completed the work, no questions asked.
Tears wet her eyes as Jessica watched her son, who was clutching to Roger like a lifeline.
