Damian's POV
"I love you," I told her. I wasn't even thinking clearly, it just came out. Her face donned a shocked expression and I instantly knew that it was too soon. "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that." I lifted my hand and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear before resting it on her cheek. I didn't want to scare her, I just let the words slip out without even thinking about it.
"N-no, it's nice to hear it." She gave me a small smile. "I-I..."
"You don't have to say it." I ran my fingers down her face and traced gentle circles around her dimples. She leaned forward and pressed her lips to mine in a soft, but passionate kiss. She didn't have to say the words, the kiss let me know that the feelings were reciprocated.
