It was the next morning and I was helping Abbie get ready for the day. Carter had texted me a little while after we got Abbie out of the tub last night, letting me know that he would be leaving early in the morning, and hoped to get here a little after lunchtime, which gave me plenty of time to get ready for his visit.
Since Abbie was feeling a lot better this morning, I let her pick out her outfit for the day and told her we could spend the morning outside. It would be good for her to get some fresh air, and I knew she would enjoy playing in the yard.
