Marlie’s POV
I collapsed onto the ground in exhaustion after running around with the kids for a while. Hope played with us for a bit before returning back to her home so she could work on her homework and get ready for dinner. I had continued playing with Abbie and Jayce for a while until I got too tired to run around more, so I flopped onto the ground and they both came over and climbed on top of me, giggling.
“Of course, doggy pile on the Luna.” I laughed, playfully grabbing them both and pulling them in for a tight hug. Abbie and Jay Jay’s laughter fueled mine and we laid on the ground panting between our fits of laughter, unable to stop. Just as I was about to get up off the ground, Jay Jay jumped up and ran behind me.
“Ian!” He shouted and I turned around just in time to see Jayce
