Marlie’s POV
We entered the hospital and the second the nurse at the front desk saw me, she ushered me into one of the rooms, informing me that the doctor would be in the room in a few minutes. I wasn't sure if Marissa had mindlinked her and told her I was on my way, or if it was just because I was the Luna, but I didn't really stop to think about it as I sat down on one of the chairs in the room and rocked Abbie back and forth a little while we waited.
After a few minutes passed, the doctor came into the room and started getting all of his stuff set up. When little Abbie saw him, she pushed herself further into my arms as if she were trying to hide from the strange man. Bouncing her, I made some soft shushing sounds and looked up at the doctor who was looking at me with an odd expressio
