Flavio's little brow furrowed in confusion. He turned to me, his eyes filled with suspicion. "Not caused by the Alpha?"
He continued to look skeptical, likely wondering if everyone, including Flynt and Flavio, had been sent away, who else could have hurt Avery if not me.
Slater cleared his throat gently and said, "Alpha Flavio, please take a look at this."
He displayed the corridor surveillance footage from the previous day on his phone. In the video, Avery stumbled out of the bedroom, clad only in a bath towel. Clearly intoxicated, she seemed disoriented and wandered around in circles in the house.
She turned left and collided with a large vase, then veered to the right and bumped into a decorative cabinet. Despite evident pain, she continued to grapple with an iron tree in the corridor. Under the high-definition camera, Flavio could clearly discern the bruises on Avery’s arms and legs as she struck the various objects.
Flavio watched the video in stunned silence. When he had seen the injuries on Avery’s body earlier that morning, he had thought that I, his father who had never laid a hand on women, had suddenly turned cruel.
"Alpha Flavio, you see, the injuries on the Luna's body truly have nothing to do with the Alpha," Slater sighed softly. "It's because the Luna was drunk."
Flavio pursed his lips, his face reflecting his perplexity. Though he still looked at me with a serious gaze and remarked, "Then you are also at fault. Why didn't you help her when you saw her hitting the wall, the tree, and the vase?"
I spoke with indifference, "Have you noticed that several bottles of top-tier wine are missing from the wine cabinet downstairs?"
Flavio's face drained of all color. He was well aware of my aversion to socializing and women, as well as my extremely disciplined lifestyle. Aside from my responsibilities to the pack and my business, collecting fine wines had been one of my greatest passions. Every bottle in the downstairs cabinet was not cheap.
My son bit his lip, as if he had suddenly realized the trouble he had gotten himself into. He abruptly turned on his heel and dashed out, saying, "I have something else to attend to, so I'll go do it now!"
"Wait a moment," I interjected. "Didn't you just say that she is your person and that you are protecting her? A man must be accountable for his own people." I blocked his path, knelt down and raised an eyebrow at him.
Flavio: "..."
"Alpha Killian, you're incredibly wealthy, and you still want to extort money from your son?" Slater's voice came through the mind-link, but I chose to ignore it.
My young son reluctantly took out his cell phone and transferred $1000 to my account. "I'll pay in installments."
After uttering those words, he gently pulled his hand away from mine then swiftly dashed off on his short legs. Slater gazed in astonishment at Flavio's retreating figure, his pajamas a pale yellow blur. "Alpha, it seems you've made the right choice in a Luna. For her sake, your little son sacrificed his savings!"
I nodded slightly and turned my gaze in the direction that Flavio had vanished.

Third POV
There was a tense situation in the children's room.
"Brother! Why did you transfer my pocket money to daddy!" Flynt protested, placing his hands on his hips and pouting. "That's the money grandpa secretly gave me to buy a remote control car!"
Flavio, sitting gracefully with his legs crossed, responded coolly, "Daddy’s expression clearly stated that if I don't pay him, he'll kick Avery out of the house." He glanced at Flynt, who wore an expression with a mix of surprise and sadness on his face. "I don't mind, but you'll never get to eat her cooking again."
Flynt hesitated for a moment. "Alright, remote control cars and stuff aren't as important as delicious food."
"It's just that daddy's wine is too expensive," Flavio sighed. "Avery drank millions worth of wine yesterday, and the pocket money for the two of us isn't enough."
Flynt furrowed his brow and paced the room nervously. Several million for wine, but hundreds of remote control cars could have been bought with that! Suddenly, an idea struck him.
"Brother, what if we start calling Avery 'mommy' starting tomorrow and try to make daddy fall in love with Avery?" There was a hint of cunning in Flavio's eyes.
Flavio nodded in agreement. "That makes sense. When a man is in love, his IQ will drop to negative levels, and he won't care about money."
"Okay, it's a deal!" Flynt exclaimed with excitement. "I'm going to start planning how to make daddy fall in love with Avery... I mean, fall in love with mommy!"
Flavio observed his younger brother sitting down at the desk with satisfaction. "You have plenty of ideas. You start writing and I'll go downstairs."
Flynt pulled a book titled ‘Guide to love.’
Avery
There was the gurgling sound of water in the kitchen as I washed dishes ignoring the stares of passing by Omegas. They never expected the pack’s Luna to work instead of bossing them around.
Five years ago, when I learned that I was not Alpha Martin Fenwick’s biological child, I felt guilty and began to do all kinds of menial and heavy work at Green Wood Pack.
At first, Luna Clara and Alpha Martin were polite to me but later, they simply didn't even hire any Omegas and handed all the work over to me. I gradually developed the habit of doing serious housework every day.
“Come here," suddenly Flavio pulled me out of the kitchen. "There are servants in our home, you don't need to do this." After saying that, he pushed me back to sit on the sofa. "You aren’t allowed to drink anymore. It's not good for your health," he looked at me seriously.
‘It's also not good for my and my brother's wallets’ he murmured something under his breath that I could not hear. I was very embarrassed.
"Aunty actually doesn't drink," I smiled nervously. “I was a bit unhappy yesterday and my mood was terrible but now it is all over!” I pretended to smile cheerfully. "I won't drink casually again," I promised.
Flavio crossed his arms over his chest and looked at my face seriously with his big eyes. "Did you break up?"
I was speechless: "..."
"It's written all over your face," he added. This little guy's voice was very tender, "Miss Avery, it's not good for you to be married and still thinking about your ex-boyfriend."
"I don't miss him," I quickly denied,
Flavio sighed, "Looks like you’re lovelorn. A woman that is lovelorn will lose interest in a man within a short period of time. It seems that Alpha Killian’s journey to pursue his wife won’t be so smooth,” the little guy sadly stood up and walked up the stairs. I was really taken aback by his remark.
"At such a young age, you still have to worry about adults' lifelong affairs?”
"Too tiring," he sighed. I blinked in surprise. This kid was really intelligent!
After Flavio went upstairs, I still wanted to do housework, but was chased upstairs by an Omega. Bored, I had no choice but to take out the book I had brought with me and start reading.
It wasn't until the sky grew dark in the evening that I straightened up and went downstairs to finish cooking for Flavio.
When I got downstairs, I saw the little guy standing at the door wearing sportswear and putting on shoes.
Seeing me, he raised his hand to say hello, "From five to six, it's time for me to go for a walk. Want to come with me?"
"Not today thank you." I smiled and put on her apron, "I'll make delicious food for you at home."
“Okay,” he nodded, opened the door gracefully and left. His temperament was extremely arrogant, not like that of a five-year-old child. I sighed while going to the kitchen to cook.
There were shrimp in the kitchen that the Omega had just bought today. I planned to make a good meal for Flavio. I was busy in the kitchen for a long time until I heard someone rush downstairs.
"What delicious food did you cook tonight?" Flavio’s voice entered my ears. I turned to look at him rushing down quickly and throwing himself directly in front of the dining table, "Wow!"
While placing the food on the table, I stared blankly at the "Flavio" in front of me. If I read the situation correctly, he had just come down from upstairs?
