Xander looks at Anju sitting in Maxi's lap holding her. Then his eyes travel to Anju's right leg which is attached to a walking cane and sticks holding for her.
It looks so painful to Xander to see her like that. Her green eyes look the same as his. He remembers that Maxi mentioned that she was pregnant. Bitter memories of him again. He was ready to accept Maxi as his wife when his mother told him that Maxi had an affair with a man and got pregnant. This is the main reason that he divorced her as soon as possible. He was furious knowing that Maxi got pregnant by another man, so he refused to see the baby too.
But seeing Anju now he feels he missed something important.
