ARISA
Watching my angel walking towards her little home, I couldn't take away the goofy grin on my beautiful face. Even if the drops of the rain were like tears continuously falling down from the dark clouds, it was like a thousand blessings that couldn't seem to bind from the sky to fall on me. I couldn't believe I caught her easily like that. I guess this was a new year with my new pretty doll.
Once I was satisfied looking at her fuzzy ass due to the hazy window of my metallic black 2012 Porsche Cayman, I drove away, feeling the luckiest like I was on the top of the two-breasted mountain.
I raised my fingers to my lips, remembering how much it was so special. How it was so unique and felt like it was forbiddingly wrong yet it felt goddamn right. I'd never been kissed like that. So gentle and sweet unlike all the previously I had which would usually start rough and would end up with satisfaction.
As I parked my car in front of our mansion, my butler Enrique immediately assisted me as he sheltered me from getting wet using his black umbrella.
"You had a great first day, Miss?" he asked once he caught sight of my sparkling expression.
I giggled blissfully which earned a smirk from my butler. "Oh, Enri. You can't imagine how great it is."
"I guess I can't match your wit," he complimented, winking at me.
I shook my head while laughing. "True. How about a special dinner tonight, perhaps?"
He smiled, opening the front door for me. "Calorie-free?"
"No, something that can make my heart grow fonder."
He nodded with a smile. "Oh, and your father left you a word that must be followed."
I rolled my eyes. I guess I'm going to be alone here for two weeks. "And what is it, Enri?"
"Behave," Enrique answered, crossing his arms.
I shrugged, gesturing for him to continue, "And what about Mom?"
"She said 'Kick-ass!'" he answered, raising his fist into the air.
I laughed, sending echoes inside our Italian home. "Which one do you think I should follow, Enri?"
He gave me a wide grin. "I think you should follow them both."
"Maybe," I said and started to make my way upstairs to my room. "Or maybe I can do a lot more," I added, spinning around after I winked back at him.
Once I got inside my room, I headed to my own personal bathroom and let the warm water run in the bathtub. I took out my phone from my bag and dialed Hilary immediately as I seated on my couch with my legs crossed.
"Hello, A! We've been looking for you. So what's up?" Hilary asked as soon as she answered my call.
I squealed out loud at the phone and I heard my best friend swear angrily at me. "Guest what, Ry! I've already collected my doll and put it in my doll mansion," I sang with a wide stupid grin on my face.
"You mean Quinn with Ken and Barbie?"
"Yes, yes, yes!" I chanted happily.
"So?" she said, her tone sounded bored as hell. "This is not new, A."
I pouted, hopping on the couch like a kid who was impatiently waiting for any excitement. "But this is different. She is different, Ry!"
"Yeah, yeah. But I'd never expected her to give in so easily and... I have a feeling that there's a catch, am I right?"
I nodded with an unwavering smile. "Well, she said she's attracted to me. Sweet, right? And she kind of want to prove to the whole school that the rumors aren't true. How sweet, right?"
"What rumors, A?" Hilary asked, her voice grew louder in alarm.
"The rumors of my infidelity; that I am always looking for a doll every year to cheat on," I answered, rolling my eyes.
Afterward, a dead silence succumbed on Hilary's side and I waited patiently for her to gather herself from my answer. She'd been always like that... Think first and analyze everything before she acts.
Finally, the silence ended as I heard my best friend sigh in defeat. "So Quinn allows herself to be with you because she wants to prove to the whole school that you're the best candidate for Miss Innocent from all the rumors she heard from those bimbos, which is actually true in reality?"
"No... She wants to be with me because she's attracted to my irresistible body," I retorted, irritated with her inconsiderate response.
Hilary let out a loud laugh. "Seriously, A! First day of school and you already have this problem to solve throughout the whole senior year. I have a feeling that there's something behind this girl and I think it's bad for you."
I whined at my best friend. "I don't care about that, Ry! All I want is her."
She sighed again in defeat. "And how can you keep the truth away from her if the words are spreading out every day like you're a daily newspaper, cheeky spoiled brat?"
"I think she won't believe them unless she finds an evidence," I concluded, biting my lips in anxiousness. Just the thought of Quinn finding about it squeezed all the knots in my stomach for some unknown reason.
"Are there any proof around except for catching you on the job?" she asked, amusement sticking with her every word she uttered. It was so obvious that I had finally got her full attention.
"I don't know. I'm going to make sure that she won't even meet any of my previous dolls or any of my hookers. I vow that I won't get caught. I'll be careful," I promised, crossing my heart mentally to myself.
"So she's just another of your toy. Yeah, nothing new as usual," she said in a tedious manner, her interest shrunk back to the lowest level.
"Shut up, b***h," I mocked playfully at her.
"Thanks for the compliment but I have to go. Good luck, whore." She hung up. I threw my phone on my bed, totally annoyed at my best friend. Why she always wanted to stop me from enjoying my games every year?
Brushing off my annoyance, I headed to my bathroom to take a bath. I noticed that the tub was now full of water so I took out my clothes slowly one at a time and stepped in front of my huge bathroom mirror, looking back at my almost perfect body.
With a solemn gaze, I raised my hand and touched the horizontal scar above my left breast. "Did you really cut my heart along with yours?" I whispered to no one, closing my eyes as the memories of my past swiftly injected into my mind. "You're not capable of loving someone," I whispered softly as I opened my eyes, gazing back at the naked girl in the mirror and repeated the words that she had said to me the day she died.
The day my first love died.
........
"Arisa Valentine?"
I hummed in response, staring at her like evermore with my warming body. Why did she have to be so beautiful? Taking one glance of her was already enough to be the greatest unlawful sin in this cosmos. As if all the goddess of beauty from all whatever mythologies mixed their power to manifest this gorgeous being in front of me. Maybe I should start praying every day for such luck.
Observing her intently, I gave my best to look away from her amazing exquisiteness but every aspect of her was like a gravity-forcing me to fall into her own magnetism. Even if I am living in the sky, I will gladly fall for her in endless time.
"Risa?" she called out again, waving her hand in front of me that ruptured my sight from her glorious features.
"Yeah?" I prompted, holding her hand in mine and intertwined them together.
"I think we really need to concentrate on this," she said, her eyebrows raised together as she pointed at the book over her lap.
Luckily, our chemistry teacher partnered both of us because we ditched our class last Monday. I was really glad I dragged her away that moment. I think all the good vibes were forcing themselves in every fiber of my being due to this outstanding luck.
It was a happy Thursday and we made a schedule to have our lunch together every 'T' day while she could have the remaining weekdays with her bimbos. Even though it sounded unfair, I didn't grumble about it because I knew I could possibly have her on weekends. I could also make any excuses to be with her every day. Not to mention, I almost had all the class with her so it wasn't really a big deal for me.
Allowing my mind to set aside the happiness I was receiving, I smirked at her while wrapping my arms around her waist. "I think it's impossible to concentrate on this while you're here with me."
She laughed delightfully at my remark and hearing those sounds made me shiver in a sparkling blaze——blaze she had lit just from her laugh and I think I just had a world trending o****m.
"So what do you want me to do about it?" she asked with an amused smile. "How about I leave you here so that you can concentrate on our project?"
"No!" I immediately objected, putting aside the chemistry book on the center table and covered it close. "Well, we can do it another time. How about a sleepover in my house tomorrow?" I asked hopefully, pulling my most adorable puppy look.
"Tomorrow? I thought you are going to hold a party tomorrow?" she asked in confusion while she stroked my cheek gently with her fingers and I tried my hardest to hide how much I trembled just from her touch.
"I can cancel it out," I suggested, shrugging off my shoulders nonchalantly.
She shook her head in objection, caressing my hair delicately through her tiny fingers. "No... I don't think that's a good idea. I don't even know if I'm allowed to have a sleepover with you tomorrow. We are new in this town so we might go out for the whole weekends."
So that means no Quinn until next week.
"Oh, okay... Maybe next time, " I said in disappointment. The next thing happened, we fell into a comfortable stillness while we stared at each other. Slowly, all the walls of my private room had gone astray and all I could see through my eyes were the epitome of beauty. However, she gave in easily and took away her gaze from mine in coyness.
"So I heard something about the rumors?" she began again, staring down at the book that I shut close not so long ago. And hey, rumors again? And where it came from this time?
"Tell me what lies did you hear this time?" I asked with confidence, tilting her head by tracing her cheek gently with the back of my hand.
"Well, I heard that Beca Moore was your first-year doll. Natasha was your second while Olivia Pearce was your most recent. Is that correct?"
All correct! How awesome!
I let out an amused smile and Quinn smiled back at me that made her concealed dimples shaped out through her cheeks. I swiftly caught her breathtaking abnormality on her right cheek by kissing it and pulled away to utter again a huge web of lies.
"I had a secret relationship with Beca Moore around the first year but we broke up after Ella made a scandal of me being a bisexual. And then I dated Natasha Greene for only a month during the sophomore year but we realized that we are not meant to be so we stopped seeing each other after that... And about Olivia Pearce, I never dated her. She's not even my type."
Quinn just nodded but her eyebrows joined together and I prepared myself to spit out a lie again just to keep this angel inside my arms for as long as I'm able to enjoy her presence. I don't have any idea why I was acting like this. It was like she already had a part in every ounce of my breathing. I didn't like this feeling I had for her, at the same time, I was curious about this indescribable sense so I wanted to discover more about her by being closer and I would make sure that I'm not going to leave even an inch of space between us.
"So why did Ella do that to you?" she asked, motioning her hands adorably.
I winced inwardly at her question. "I don't know... I never really knew the reason why she had done that. Maybe she was jealous that I am running my own school... Yeah, yeah. Maybe that's the reason but I had already forgiven her."
She gave me her charming smile, embracing me tightly and my arms instinctively fixed closer around her back. "You're so forgiving, you know," she whispered through my ears but she pulled herself away just to nuzzle her nose in the crook of my neck.
Closing my eyes as the guilt slowly tramping on me, my heart instantly jumped at her next question.
"So if Beca was your girlfriend, and you dated Natasha for a short while and if Olivia is nothing on the list of your 'type of girl' then what am I to you?"
"Guess what, Quinn," I proposed mischievously, hiding the nervousness in me.
She purred and her breath sent a tingling sensation to my neck like a blow of a singing siren. "Your pet?"
I burst out laughing at her implication, shaking my head in disbelief. "No. I'm not like Tiana."
She hummed playfully again. "Your... friend with benefits."
"No."
"Your greatest s****l fantasy?"
I chuckled and pretended to think thoroughly. "May-be?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, laughing at my answer.
I let out a deep breath, drew back a little, and gazed at her in a serious fashion. "Quinn, I really want to get to know you better so why don't we just leave it to our imagination?"
My angel arched her brow and then nodded. "You're right."
......
The school had ended. We have some auditioning to do for the students who wanted to join our cheerleading group so my friends were waiting for me outside our classroom while Quinn and I went out of the class together.
Our group had to be together to make a grand entrance to the auditorium elegantly. I wanted to build an expression for the tryouts to get them anxious. That meant this was no joke for us and we do our routine seriously.
"Quinn, these are my friends," I introduced and my angel smiled breathtakingly at them.
"This is Bailey," I began, pointing at her and Quinn waved at her but the brunette just rolled her eyes rudely in response.
"This is Hilary, my best friend." I continued, ignoring Bailey, and reminded myself to confront her later.
"Hi, Hilary," Quinn greeted with a wide grin. "I heard so much about you from Risa."
"Really?" Hilary retorted, narrowing her eyes suspiciously at her. "I hope it's all bad things because if you hurt my best friend, I'm sure all you've heard about me will be going to be your worst nightmare."
"Ry!" I scolded, glaring at her. I opened my mouth to ask her what exactly her problem was but Quinn cut me off.
"Actually, I think Risa is the one who is capable of hurting me more because these rumors spreading around about her are totally the biggest chain of lies I have ever heard," she mumbled shyly.
"You're ri-" I heard Bailey whisper under her breath but I immediately elbowed her lightly on her side, cutting her stupid words out and she immediately covered it with a not-so-convincing cough.
"So what about me?" I heard Tiana chimed in as she laughed nervously.
"Oh, this is Tiana," I said, joining her nervous laughter.
"Tiana!?" my angel exclaimed happily at her and my brows joined together in her reaction. "I heard that you finally opened up your closet to join our team."
And where did she hear it from? Oh, I smell something Timofreak.
Tiana chuckled and she squirmed in coyness. Tiana never squirms. "Y-yeah. I guess t-they're right," she stuttered out of character. I never heard Tiana stuttered before!
"Congratulations, you made it," Quinn said cheerfully and then hugged my holiday girl tightly.
Feeling the wrath was about to explode inside me, I immediately gripped Bailey's shoulder next to me, trying my best not to push Tiana out of my angel's hold. I also felt a hand, gripping my waist and I looked up to see Bailey glaring at my two girls. I guess I wasn't the only one who felt so possessive but I think I had more right to be.
"Yey!" Tiana embraced her back, lifting her as they spun around together with her four-inches red heels before she winked mockingly at us.
I heard Bailey wince painfully as I clutched her shoulder blade hard.
Once she put her down, Quinn pulled away and looked at Tiana with concern. "No bully or anything?"
Tiana hummed and shook her head. "No. I'm still alive. Thanks to A, nobody wants to mess up with me," she praised as she pointed at me.
Quinn looked at me and smiled in amazement like I was Superwoman from the sky helping many boobs to erect happily. WTF?!
I smiled back at her, releasing my grip from Bailey and I think we had a major staring competition going on at the moment.... until someone called her name.
My friends and I turned around to see Barney and her friends. I think my eyes instantly shot lasers to them.
"Khloe," Quinn called her name harmoniously and my ears stung from how it sounded. It was really painful to listen to such a sweet angelic voice calling out a spawn of evil.
"Ready to go?" Khloe asked as she stepped forward to us, ignoring us completely.
"Yup," Quinn answered with an innocent smile.
"Where are you going?" I asked Quinn in confusion.
"Oh, we decided to visit this new café near the campus. I think you should check out this place next time," Quinn answered me and my eyes burned when Khloe held her hand with her corrupted one.
I nodded. "So why don't we come together next time?" I asked, snatching my angel's hand from her.
Quinn chuckled nervously, turning her head to Khloe who was smiling sarcastically at me. I think my angel could feel the tension between us so she cleared her throat to break it. "Sure... Next time. We probably should go now so good luck in your audition."
"Thanks, " I said softly and kissed her hand to neutralize the black spell that the witch chanted when she dared to hold my angel's hand.
Quinn smiled, looking at me amazed, and then she pulled away to make her way to Barney's friends. I watched Ella narrowed her eyes at us while the Scooby-Doo couple had these suspicious smiles on their lips before they turned around and walked away through the long empty hall with Quinn.
"So..." I heard someone speak and I realized that Khloe had stayed with us. "How about joining us to this little game I created?"
Hilary snorted sarcastically behind me while I glared at her. "What game? Chasing with the monkeys? Thanks but no thanks, dear."
Khloe chuckled cockily. "Believe me. You have no choice but to play this war with us."
"Who are you? Adolfa Hitler?" Bailey hissed, attacking forward but unfortunately, Tiana found her opportunity to embrace her tightly.
"And what game are you talking about?" I asked and noticed that her group and Quinn stopped at the end of the hallway, waiting for her to follow.
Khloe clicked her tongue and smirked evilly at us. "The game of collecting evidences to prove that the rumors are true about you? Guess who's the judge, bitches," she said and looked at Quinn who was looking at us with confusion all over her face. Khloe turned her head back to stare playfully at me before she made her demonic exit.
I gaped at her totally stunned and I tried my hardest not to tackle her at this moment. As I twisted around to my friends, I found them looking at me with question marks all over their faces, except my best friend who was now smirking happily now that she had found an interesting challenge.
I looked at them, meeting their eyes intently, and then commanded, "Emergency 'A' meeting at my house after the audition. I guess we have a game to play."
